Route changes annually and is a moderate roll 45mph max speed of approximately 30 miles through city streets and greenways. \n\n  \n\nEnding Location: \nDowntown Indianapolis locaton disclosed with online registration.\nIndianapolis\, IN \n\n  \n\nCharity Beneficiary: \nThe Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is an annual\, worldwide event raising money for prostate cancer\, men’s mental health and suicide prevention initiatives. Each rider registers to fundraise in advance of the ride with all money donated going directly to The Movember Foundation. Registration will automatically create a personal fundraising page for each riders sponsors to securely donate. The DGR is one day a year to clean up\, put on your suit and get on your vintage or classic styled motorcycle to ride in support of and in memory of our brothers\, sons\, fathers\, uncles and friends affected by prostate cancer and mental health challenges. This is the 15th DGR globally and in Indianapolis. To paraphrase the Steel Horse Thunder show\, it’s the most popular but best secretly kept ride in town. \nParticipants should dress in dapper attire (anyone can join\, it’s not limited to men) and do their best to attend on a theme appropriate steed to include:\nCafe Racer\nClassic\nModern Classic\nChopper\nBrat Style\nBobber\nScooter (Metal-bodied classics)\nTracker\nScrambler\nSide Car\nClassic Cruiser\nModern Classic Electric \nWhile most rides are open to all bike styles\, The DGR is a niche event catered to less represented bikes. All are welcome but we encourage attending in attire and on a machine that fits with the purpose.
